About us Saffer Baron & Associates Pty., Certified Practising Accountants, was established in August, 1981 in Carlisle Street, St. Kilda with Arnold Saffer as principal, a small staff and a mixture of small business clients. As the practice expanded, Steven Baron (whose background was with the Chartered Accounting firm, Hungerfords) joined as an employee, who in 1986 became a partner in the firm. The practice has since undergone significant growth and increased its staff to its present level of two partners, five qualified accountants and three support staff and operates from its current address of 146 Hawthorn Road, Caulfield. Our clientele is varied. We handle the affairs of professional persons, tradesmen, property developers, retailers, manufacturers, investors, computer and information technology enterprises, locally, in rural Victoria, almost all other states of Australia and overseas. Clients include family groups who have been clients of the firm since its inception as well as small and medium sized enterprises. We are committed to providing quality service and easy client access to both partners. The practice undergone a successful quality assurance review by the Australian Society of CPA's and is heavily involved in professional development of both partners and staff.
